The booking widget puts your programmes inside your own website, in your colour, on your site’s background. You paste one line into a page, and the list keeps itself up to date: new programmes appear when you publish them, and go when they come off sale. Parents read the list on your site. When they press Book, your programme’s page on ClubDock opens in a new tab to sign in, choose dates and pay, and your website stays where it was.
Only a Manager can open Settings → Your website.

Get the snippet

1

Go to Settings → Your website

Nothing on this page needs saving. The snippet carries everything.
2

Choose what to show

Under What to show, choose Everything on sale, or one programme. Only programmes that are published and have dates ahead are offered.
3

Copy the snippet

Under The snippet, press Copy snippet. If your site builder asks for a web address instead of code, press Copy address.
4

Paste it into your website

Put it where you want the list to appear. The page has instructions for Wix, Squarespace, WordPress and Anything else.
The snippet looks like this, with your club’s name in it:
Settings, Your website, showing What to show, the snippet with Copy snippet, and the live preview
If your browser won’t copy, select the text and copy it yourself.

Preview it

The Preview on the page is the widget exactly as a visitor to your site sees it. Switch Width between A full page and A narrow column to see how it looks in a sidebar or on a phone.

What visitors see

The same rows as your club page, in the same order: the time, venue, dates, today’s price with any early bird price and discounts, who it’s for, and whether places are available, limited or sold out.
  • The widget grows and shrinks to fit the list, so there’s no scrollbar inside it and your site’s footer follows straight after it.
  • In a narrow column or on a phone, Book sits on its own line under each programme.
  • A programme that’s sold out or not open yet says See dates instead of Book. It opens the same page, where a parent can join a waiting list.
  • A snippet for one programme shows that programme, with a link to see everything your club runs.
If there’s nothing to show, the widget says “Nothing is open for booking just now — check back soon”, with a link to your club page. If the club in the snippet doesn’t exist (usually because it was copied wrongly), it says “This club is not on ClubDock”. Copy the snippet again from Settings → Your website.

Keeping it up to date

There’s nothing to change on your website when you publish, change or unpublish a programme. The widget shows the change within a minute. If you chose one programme and it comes off sale, the widget says nothing is open for booking. Choose another programme and replace the snippet on your site.

Privacy

The widget never signs anyone in, shows nothing personal, sets no cookies and stores nothing in the visitor’s browser. It doesn’t add a cookie banner or analytics to your site. Search engines are told not to index it, so your club page is the one that ranks.

Your club page

If you don’t have a website, or want a link to share, use your club page instead. See Your club page.
